According to the Roget Thesaurus of English words and phrases, a problem is a challenge, a difficulty, an inconvenience, a puzzle, an obstacle, an enigma, an embarrassment, a situation, an impossibility, a temptation, a tribulation, a headache, a handicap, a test, a burden, a complication, a crises, a tough assignment.
